Assignment #3 - High key/ Low key

I really like the shadow of the picture of the cup.
The shadow on its side makes the picture round.
Also, the curve of the cup's line looks so cool.
And its texture is very polish, so it reflects light a little,
and I like the reflection too.
But before I worked on this picture,
the picture looked little dark and gray,
so I increased the exposure little to make it white.
Even though I can barely see the edge of the cup,
I think it makes this picture better and more interesting.

I like the reflection of the light a lot in this picture.
The light reflected to the background,
and I think it looks so interesting
This picture is focused on the edge of glass part of the container,
and I like that instead focused on the edge of the upper part.
Before I fixed on the picture, I thought it was flat.
So, I added some black and increased exposure and fill light a little.



Over all, I really liked this assignment
because the pictures look so cool.
And I think it is very fun assignment,
because I have to set up every thing.
but it was hard to take pictures.
it was difficult to adjust the amount of the light.
For the low key, it was too much light when I turn on the light,
and too little when I turn off the light.
So, I turned off the light,
and used a tripod and set the shutter speed longer.
Although it was a kind of hard assignments,
I think it was a very interesting one
and I really like my pictures.

Before & After

I took this picture in Salk Lake City Library, and the globe looked so cool because of the light coming in through the big window of the library. Also, the light looked more cool since it didn't flash too much because it was a kind of a old globe, and it wasn't that polish.

I thought this picture was too dark, so I changed its exposure to make it lighter. I really like the light on the globe, and don't want to mess it up,so I made the under exposure. Even though it doesn't have enough white, I like this way better. Also, I tought this picture looked little plat, so I added some more contrast. And I like the piture that I worked on that the one before.
